Thankfully I won’t need to worry about that for the next 4 years at least.

This looks like it only applies to people who need an actual visa to enter the county for tourism or other purposes.
Which means those eligible to enter under the visa-waiver program–which probably covers the vast majority of non-US THS members–would not be affected by this, unless, they were interested in the particular visa that allows them to stay up to 6 months for each visit rather than the 90 days granted with visa-free entry.

I prefer to spend my tourism dollars where I feel welcomed

We travel to US on a B1/B2 visa therefore we will pay the additional fee when we reapply for the visa. If we are good and follow the rules at the end of the visa (10 years) we might get our money back.
It does not mention ESTA (visa waver) which is what most tourists travel on. As others say it won’t affect us for at least three years. No plans to visit while the present Government is in residence.

Well, that’s another reason not to visit the US!

New visa changes to the UK too, reckon it’s about £10, and definitely not called an “Integrity Fee.” We don’t do moral posturing through admin charges - far too dry and sarcastic for that, thank heavens
