@Henry_R It wasn’t removed despite dispute. Whatever has happened afterwards I don’t know. I do know that this host has used other services too; regardless, the listings are no longer on THS.
@buttercup Was this in a city in a country with an emerging economy or something?? That shower situation is absolutely bizarre. I sat for a couple in London who didn’t tell me until I arrived that their shower only had one temperature, which was warm enough after I turned the water heating temperature up, and water pressure was atrocious because of a costly external plumbing situation. The dog scenario, highly inappropriate and horrible that they would actually leave their dog in that condition, and leave them with a stranger, so they can go travelling. Pretty cruel!
