I have fallen in love with all the pets my hubby and I have looked after. However we started in 2018 and places, pets and names start to get all mixed up in your memory. So we have created a sort of scrapbook of all our sits. Where it was, where we visited etc and all about the pets including a picture. We always ask permission from pet owner if this is ok. No one had refused. It is so lovely to look back on, especially now as some if the pets are no longer with us. When I find this out I am so sad!! Does anyone else keep mementoes?
Me too and I do forget the names of some of the pets, a few of which have since died sadly. I use Facebook as my diary so put pics of the pets and their names on there
I have photo books printed out. Plus, an elderly, sick dog I sat had to be put down. I have her photo on my desk at home.
I’ve done a photobook of my first 5 years of pet sitting. Having now completed the second five years, another photobook is due. I love looking back at all the special pets that have been entrusted into my care. Sadly, at least ten are no longer with us but not forgotten.
I have a Facebook album of “pet” photos of the lovely pets I’ve sat for. Sadly, as other sitters have said, some of them have passed away.
