Pet sitting experience in profile

I just noticed the recommendation for sitters to add the pets they own(ed)/cared for. I’ve tried to add as many pets as possible (there’s a cap of 10), but I’m having trouble to complete the ‘breed’ section, as the system does not take some of the breeds I chose. Can anyone help?
Question for homeowners: How important is this feature and how do you use it? What does it look like when you check a sitter’s profile?

No one on the forum can help add breeds that aren’t available as choices. Best thing is to pick no specific breed or pick the closest.

I don’t use the “pets you’ve cared for”. I sit and have had and sat for many pets over the years. This is stated in my profile and obvious in my reviews. I find it very busy looking and not useful. I also host and I don’t really look at as a host when looking for sitters. I may notice it if it includes some exotic pet I wouldn’t expect to see.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry or overthink this.

We’re sitters, and personally I haven’t completed that part, because it detracts from the other sections which ‘sell’ us for want of a better word in a much better way. I would take a look a look at your own profile and see if it makes your profile look better or worse.

Our main images have been carefully selected to be the best-of-the-best so adding more images that didn’t hit the grade seems counterproductive from our own perspective.

But everyone’s profile is unique, so I would use your own judgement to see if it enhances yours or not.

I agree in that it appears quite dominant in the profile. I’ll delete it. Thanks!

Thank you, good advice. It does not look good.
