Re-Activate/Renew Membership and leave review and cancel

Has anyone re-activated their account just to leave a review, and then cancelled for a refund?

I read this, so I think it should be fine…

“To be eligible for a refund, you must not have used your membership within 14 days of joining or auto-renewing. This means that you can request a full refund as long as you have not added dates to your listing, applied for any sits, or messaged other members within these 14 days.”

I’ve read through T&C’s and can’t see any further elaboration than above. So I assume it will be fine?

My membership just expired during a sit.

With the new review system you only have 14 days to review, so I can’t figure out any math that makes it possible for you to review the sit that just ended. You’d have to wait 15 days, at which point it’s too late to review. I’m guessing THS has done this math too. Frustrating situation.

I wonder if leaving a review would be considered to be using your account and therefore not eligible for refund. Would be an expensive review and I would have thought not worth the risk. Why don’t you just offer to write a reference?
