I referred a friend to TrustedHouseSitters and they joined but I did not get any credit. I am frustrated trying to communicate with a person at THS. Common problem?
I had two people join and use and I did not receive credit. I messaged support in the end, listing both people with their THS number and date they joined. I then got the credit added to my account.
I’ve had over 20 referrals credited to my account, some immediately but a few took several days.
Yes this has happened to me on a couple of occasions- I sent an e-mail to support with a link to the sitter’s profile and they manually added the months to my membership.
This has happened to us several times and I’m assuming there is a bug. I noticed the referral link (when not working) doesn’t mention your name eg xxxx has given you 25% off
But when it is working the name appears again. I have had several back and forth with THS CS but in each instance it was frustrating and provided no clarity. After a whirl it seems to reset and in each instance they manually added it to my referral bucket.
Something else to note that your membership date won’t show anything beyond five years credits but the months show up in your “total rewards” section. No idea why that is.
