Hello, been enjoying being a sitter on Trusted Housesitters for over a year now. I recently noticed I am no longer getting an email when I have been invited to a sit, nor do I see it on my dashboard. The fact I have been offered a sit is tucked away in our inbox conversation in very light letters. I wouldn’t have known it was there if I had not heard from the homeowner that they were waiting for my reply. Fortunately this is a return sit so the HO had my email and was able to reach me another way. Has anyone else encountered this?
Did the homeowner actually send you an “invite” to the sit or did they just send you an email inviting you? That’s my first thought in reading your post. They may be just sending you a personal invite via the mailbox.
I am part of the test group for the website changes and I am wondering if this is the issue? It was an invite that I was able to accept and then I immediately got an email that I had a new sit.
Does sound like a bug that THS should hear about.
