As everyone must know, the vast majority of sits are available in the UK, US, and Australia.
These are countries I never plan to visit, so I’m wondering if there’s a way to ignore search results by country so I can only see sits in locations that are of interest to me.
I have not selected any of these countries in my Profile as places I am interested in sitting, so that’s not the issue.
Any ideas?
As far as I’m aware you just have to search every country you do want to sit in or get good at scrolling past the many many US and UK sits - would be great to be able to exclude countries though, especially if you are doing a date range search!
At the moment, I am sitting abroad in Europe only, not the UK. To search for sits (and there are really very few in Europe), I use my laptop only, because on the app you can’t search via map dragging, but you can on a PC. I drag the map to exclude the UK, so it only shows sits across Europe. I also write in the first line of my profile that I’m only sitting abroad in Europe and am currently not accepting any sit invites from the UK, and so far this has worked to avoid UK invites
