Does anyone else have an issue with their search for sits? I am looking for sits in Jersey, Channel Islands, but keep getting alerts for France and Guernsey (where I live!) I assume that the search comes up with the nearest geographical location. However, if I want to sit in London I don’t want alerts about Manchester. If I want to go to Spain I don’t want alerts about Portugal. Do others have the same problem?
Yes, the search is rubbish and never gets improved.
I have suggested several times being able to drag a rectangle/shape over an area (eg the coast but not the inland areas) in order to specify searches, but, of course, nothing ever gets done.
As the mapping feature doesn’t appear to work very well I would search for Jersey and then filter by distance. Hope this helps.

We’ve been complaining about this on the forum since its inception and I referred to it again recently. It really is an issue that needs addressing once and for all
I’ve been a member on here for 11 years and this has been a problem since I joined but still hasn’t been fixed. I don’t quite understand how simple search features such as this can’t be improved on. It falls into the same category as the abysmal calendar which isn’t worth updating anymore. I think it’s about time that THS spent some money on some decent tech savvy employees!
