Hi there, I’m new to TH, have done a couple of sits which have gone well with good reviews. I want to apply dates for future sits, but when I set the dates and hit “apply”, it still provides literally hundreds of options outside those dates. Am I doing something wrong? Also, is there some way to either talk to, or email directly to the Help Desk or a TH rep, I can’t see any “Contact Us” option? I see there is a “chat” button on the left of the screen which does not work - I can only get the chat “bot” on the right of the screen which is pretty hopeless. It could be me, but it seems to be they don’t want to talk to us

You’re not doing anything wrong. You will find that some of those sits have more than one set of dates, so one set should fit the dates you set. A nuisance I know
Thanks for responding. I’ve taken a look at a few of the listing and none of them cover the dates I entered. I’ve applied dates in April 2026 and they are all coming up for Nov and Dec 2025. They all have only one set of dates listed, non are multiple. Weird!

So, when you do a search you first fill in location and then apply filters with the dates. Is that right? Just trying to see if I can help figure it out.
If you’re on an app, try deleting and reloading the app. Also, you can try the website and see whether it’s an app problem vs. not on website.
If you can’t get either to work, then ping membership services and specify what operating system, what version of it (and what version of app, if any) that you’re using. Membership services needs such info to potentially help.
What you’re describing is probably a problem with your app, your device or what you’re doing. Otherwise, other people would be reporting such problems and I’ve not seen such a report over the past two+ years on this forum.
Membership services’ contact info is at the bottom of your dashboard. Otherwise, if you use the chatbot, Frankie, tell it that you need a human.
Note: If your device or app or operating system is too old a version, THS might not support it.
Just type ‘Speak to agent’, twice, when using the bot.

fellow Scot here. Just as an experiment, if you search on Scotland and dates 1st to 30th April 2026 how many sits do you see? I see 8
if I search Europe for same dates I get 96.
Hello everyone, thank you for your time and your suggestions. Something I have discovered - if I select the dates by tapping on 1 April and then tapping on 30 April, for sits in Scotland, I get 6 house sits for April. If I do the same but by selecting 1 April and dragging the curser to 30 April, thereby selecting all dates, I get 26 sits but with dates all over the place. So, I am getting there with a bit of trial and error. And thanks for the suggestions of getting to speak to a human, I will keep that in mind. OK, I seem to be having more sensible searches now. Thank you all for your help.
