Hi,

I am new to this group and I am having a little trouble with the website. When I search for sitters homes, and I put in a start date, I get a list of homes that are available all year, not just my dates. Is there a trick to finding a home? I am looking in Brisbane and would like to be in a place for a month, or piece together a couple of places. How do I do that search?

Welcome @Jelly1 - have you paid for membership or are you using the free sign up to search ?

@Jelly1, welcome to THS and THS Forum. Assuming that you’re a paid member

  • select ‘Find a housesit’
  • under ‘where would you like to go’, enter Brisbane
  • under dates, select a start date and an end date for the search
  • click apply
  • review results and add more filters as appropriate
  • save any searches that you find interesting
  • review notifications (better on iOS app) for email and/or push

Our guess is that you did not enter an end date to your search.
Keep experimenting. The search function, and Saved Search function, are primary tools for finding housesits. Good luck.

Hi All,

Thank you so much for your responses. I think there is a lag between joining and the activation of the site. It took two days before I was able to get it to work. All is OK now. :slight_smile:
