I didn’t notice anything in the terms & conditions prohibiting it specifically, but there are a ton of attractions around the area & it’d save me a lot of time (and keep my page from being too long) if I include hyperlinks to direct potential sitters to other websites for more information. Is that frowned upon, like is there any risk of having my profile removed or suspended if I did that? Thank you.
Hi there!
No, you can’t put hyperlinks in your profile (you can’t get suspended, it simply won’t let you publish your listing with a hyperlink present). Even if you could, I don’t think many sitters would really take the time to click external links for further reading anyway, as most sitters apply for multiple listings at once. Just save the links for your welcome guide or folder of notes that you leave for your sitter. It’s best to just briefly list some top tourist attractions in your listing - most sitters do their own research of things they’re interested in anyway! Remember that your listing should be a basic overview & advert.
