Archie the 8 yr old cocker spaniel. We have been sitting for him since he was a pup. He lives in the glorious Peak District UK.
Their owners were originally THS members but we have become good friends and they came off the site. We love revisiting and taking care of this handsome guy. He is a real cuddle monster.
The indoor swimming pool is also a draw :joy::wink:

@ExploreDreamDiscover This was so great! A cat that plays chimes :star_struck: There was another musical cat on this thread. Maybe we should start a musical pet thread? Or a pet talent thread?

@Carla the Rock Cats story is featured the netflix show , Cat People episode 2.
Maybe we’ll see some more talented pets on the forum.

I am going to check that show out @ExploreDreamDiscover and yes I hope we get more submissions for pet talent on the forum, as long as the pets enjoy it, it looks really fun!

Movers have been packing us up for cross-country relocation. Our rescue dog is highly reactive, so we’ve been keeping him in our RV to avoid unnecessary stress. Since we’ve taken him on road trips before, he’s comfortable. Plus, we can control the temperature in there.

He’s chilled in all senses

I love this, @BonnyinBrighton - it’s amazing to see what West Pier looked like before it burned down. I remember seeing what was left when I visited Brighton years ago, and it made me feel very sad!

It is sad what happened to the West Pier but strangely enough the twisted metal wreck left standing has become an artistic icon almost a metaphor for historical decay. More Instagram photos are taken of the wreck than almost any other location in Brighton and there are many events that happen with the pier in view eg Yoga on the beach , drumming circles, meditation gatherings, and of course the Murmuration photographers love it as a backdrop. A tightrope walker practices his skills between the metal supports on the beach……it’s a mixture of sad and inspiring especially when there’s a stunning sunset behind it. We locals love our broken pier…:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I love the positive energy around the pier, that sounds awesome!

I was one of those who got a sunset photo, amongst others, Brighton in general is a very photogenic place!

Last night, we arrived at our new home after a cross-country road trip. Our dog had fun running around and checking out our new place. Luckily, he’s great at road trips — it’s not even his first cross-country travel.

This time, my husband and I convoyed, with our dog riding in our RV with me. We make it comfortable for him to look out the windows whenever he likes, with a raised surface. Otherwise, he hates hearing things, but not seeing what’s going on.

On car trips, he wears a harness, which is connected to the vehicle. That’s because dogs often get hurt or go missing after car wrecks if they’re not secured. That also keeps him from jumping out into a parking lot or onto a street after we pull over. We wouldn’t want him to get hit by anyone in his excitement.
