I took this photo when I arrived at a repeat sit in Somerset, England yesterday. It was winter when I was here last…

Their massive garden is looking beautiful now. There is fresh asparagus and spinach in the veg patch, along with fresh herbs that I have been invited to harvest.

Yes, there will be some, watering to do, but there are two, long, hosepipes in convenient places. No heavy watering cans.

The weather is set to be hot and sunny for the next week. Their sweet little dog and cat remember me from last time, so it all feels very relaxed.

The wisteria is coming into bloom.

This is Toby. He’s a very cute little Maltese I’m looking after at my first Irish sit. I thought he looked sweet on the stairs yesterday. Well, he looks sweet everywhere!

Thank you! I started doing this a while back, after our sitters did it for us. It’s inexpensive to print and put in a little frame but such a nice little thing for them to remember their pet had a lovely staycation too
