@Samox24 - I also have a photo of that mural (without mask). Will try and dig it out and post on here. I thought it was very clever to portray the earring by incorporating the yellow burglar alarm cover.

@Twitcher It’s definitely still one of my favourites by Banksy, which he named “Girl with a Pierced Eardrum.”
Unfortunately when we went to see the Johannes Vermeer painting of Girl with a Pearl Earring in The Hague, (which Banksy had based his mural on), the painting had been moved for a special exhibition in Amsterdam. Then when we hoped to get tickets for the exhibition at the Rijks Museum for when we arrived in Amsterdam on our next stop the tickets had all sold out so hopefully we will see it on our next visit to The Hague!

We were fortunate to see it during a temporary exhibition in Edinburgh. Mesmerising and much smaller than I imagined.
