I don’t even glance at the Sits I’m Supposed to Like. Because I can - y’know - find the Sits I’d Like for myself.
I try but it’s really hard not to on the android phone app, as they are inserted between the results of my search. They appear after every group of 15 listings with the precision of a Swiss watch. It’s probably the most consistent feature on the app.
I must admit that I haven’t got the foggiest idea about computer programming but my common sense tells me that developing and maintaining useless features is a waste of time and resources and it certainly doesn’t help the company’s image. Not that anyone seems to care much about that, judging by the recent video.
@Silversitters, perhaps the section could be renamed from “sits that we think you’ll like” to “sits that we’d like you to take”.
Maybe THS purpose is to minimize new member refunds rather than to maximize sitter experience? 
Darned if we can see any other purpose.
Or “sits no one else wants “ ?

I’ve asked the question @Snowbird - I’ll pop back when I know more 
I looked at the list of “Sits we think you’ll like” today and saw mostly sits for North Carolina. This make sense since this is where we’ve sat a lot in the last year. But crammed in between all this NC sits was a sit for Chicago. Illinois. A bit of a hike from NC. Makes no sense.
I just looked at mine. Because I had just looked for a San Francisco sit in relation to a comment in another thread, lo and behold, my “Sits we think you’ll like” are all for San Francisco - not interested!!!
It would be great to know the thinking behind it @Snowbird - ours are almost all UK and USA sits popping up as ones we would like. Neither of which we sit in or are saved as favourites or countries we like? #answersonapostcard
