Let’s call our meeting for Tuesday, 10 December. As usual, I’ll send the Google Meet link two days before.
As this is a book about nomadic travel — Liesbet has been a nomad for 20 years, it’s relevant to all of us. Come to the meeting to hear LIesbet, even if you haven’t read the book, although it looks very interesting!
Looking forward to this. I suggested the book. Liesbet is a friend of mine. I dont know where I will be on December 10 (somewhere in Peru) but I’ll be sure to not be on a bus and be somewhere with internet.
Wonderful @Makelikeanapeman. I didn’t realize you were friends. Thinking of you, I told her we have a member who has also spent years traveling by boat. Liesbet will be joining us from South America too, she expects to be in Argentina.
Will do my best to make it but I’ll be in Kenya and my husband has leave that week so we may be off exploring!! I’ve got the book on my kindle and am enjoying it. Thank you to whoever suggested it.
I suggested it. Liesbet is afriend of mine. She has spoken with a few other book clubs before. Im sure it will be a good conversation. So glad you are enjoying it! And enjoy Kenya!
I just placed a library hold on a book with a very intriguing title:
We’ll Prescribe You A Cat.
The author is Syou Ishida and the summary is lovely. Perhaps a good TH Book Club read. I will keep you posted
@MaggieUU Thanks for the book recommendation, I have been looking for something new to read. My library also has the book but the wait period is 6 months so I read a sample and decided to get the kindle version from Amazon.
