I’m so sorry if this is somewhere else, but is there a doc that goes through the “steps”. For example,
I’ve done my listing
I’ve had my applicants, zoomed them, chosen my fave
I’ve clicked the Invite button or whatever it was on the sitters message on my Inbox
And now it says, “Sit confirmation request sent, sitter agreement pending.”
What happens next?
Is there an agreement that both parties sign? My sitter has had this for a while. Is there a template I can read?
Are there other steps in the process?
Sorry if this is all in a post somewhere, but I couldn’t find it.
Hi @DaisyFitz I don’t remember having seen this specific question before, so don’t be too hard on yourself.
I don’t see the homeowner’s side of the process, but from what you’ve shown, it seems as though your sitter hasn’t accepted your sit offer yet. As a sitter, after I’ve had my video chat and know that I’m chosen, I receive a message that I’ve been selected, and I then click and confirm that I’ve accepted.
There certainly is no requirement for any written agreement to be used.
If you have been waiting for the sitter agreement for a while, I would suggest following up with the sitter and asking if they are indeed going to confirm.
By the time we are sent the sit confirmation, we are 100% sure we are going to do the sit and agree immediately.
You don’t define “for a while”. If it’s hours, okay, but if days or longer, it might be a concern.
Usually what happens (in my experience) is the HO and prospective sitter mutually agree that it’s a fit before the HO goes ahead and sends that “pick.”
