UBER Lets dogs ride and donates to charity

Uber has launched a new service allowing customers to ride with their precious pets. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :dog: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Following successful trials, Uber Pets is now available in-app and allows riders to select an additional surcharge that lets their pets join the ride.

Selecting the Uber Pet option will notify the driver that there will be a pet riding alongside.

To celebrate its launch, Uber will be partnering with All Dogs Matter and donating £1 from each Uber Pet trip to the charity to help more dogs find homes.

It’s been successfully running in major cities in Australia for a couple of years now. I can’t believe that for once we are ahead of the UK when it comes to an animal-related matter!

Really great new for us non driving sitters where home hosts are nervous that we will not be able to get to the vet if necessary
