Two days ago I applied for a sit in Jan 2027. My msg was read almost immediately. I checked back today and to my surprise, the member and their listing no longer exist. Not 'former member ’ or ‘not in need a sitter’ or a decline. Just completely gone. This seems odd??
Possibilities:
- They’ve been reported or are in a formal Member dispute due to a previous sit so are suspended.
- They didn’t renew their Membership.
- It’s a weird glitch.
Was there anything in the listing that is banned on THS / third party living in the home / banned pet ?
Just thinking that if so the listing was reported and their membership cancelled .
Only member services wilL have access to this information and they don’t monitor or reply to forum topics - so for answers to the mystery you would need to contact them directly.
It might also be a new member testing the waters, someone who couldn’t quite believe this was really possible and then got cold feet.
Some people find it difficult to accept that genuine win-win situations can be co-created. They may simply need some time to adjust to the idea.
