I just returned home and relieved my sitter from his 6 night stay at my place. All was wonderful but am concerned to see that on both his end and my end, the sit has no record in either current or past sits! Just poof. Gone. He definitely confirmed the sit via the THS app and even further confirmed a slight change in the dates. We are perplexed and mostly disappointed bc I’d love to give him a stellar review. I have our chat still in the THS inbox, however. The chat bot is of no help in this matter. Furthermore, the welcome guide that was sent to him disappeared as well. So strange. Thoughts?
The welcome guide always disappears at the end of a sit .
The fact you could share the WG shows that it was a confirmed sit .
To Contact THS - via live chat - ask to speak to a human
Could it be that the sitter’s membership expired mid sit or on the last day of the sit ?

Sounds like a platform gremlin.
Suggest contact THS, as @Silversitters noted, via chat or via email support@trustedhousesitters.com. Take and forward to THS screenshots of the chat.
Suspect that they THS Member Services can fix situation. Odd.
Other ideas - has your THS subscription recently expired?
Give it a minute. The sit may be sort of stuck in the process from changing status from current sit to past sit.
It might be a good idea to do a refresh of the browser cache as well.

We noticed before the sit was even over that it was gone. Both confirmation and WG.

Update: chat support manually reinstated the sit and said that there was a technical glitch with the site. We were able to review each other right away. Thanks all.
Perhaps this technical glitch happened because neither of you paid a booking fee? ![]()
Ha, I know nothing about these fees and wasn’t asked to pay anything. And the support person didn’t mention it as a problem. But perhaps your commentary is meant to be in jest and - in that case - touché.
It was a joke. The booking fee was rolled out in December and it promised a smoother experience for every sit. Clearly the glitch you had can’t be called smooth. Glad it’s fixed now anyway!
I had a sit vanish on me once too, and it felt like the whole thing got sucked into a black hole. What worked for me was asking support to check the backend, because sometimes the sit gets stuck in a weird archived state and they can pop it back in place. If the sitter still has screenshots of the confirmed dates, that usually helps the team sort things out faster.
