To know her is to love her! Any homeowners here who have ever had Claudia sit for you, you know what I’m talking about.
We are heartbroken to share the news that Claudia died suddenly last week. Her brother reached out yesterday with the news, and arrangements are underway. We don’t know more than that.
Claudia had, not surprisingly, a number of fairly longstanding relationships with homeowners. We would like to do our best to ensure they get the sad news. * Or THS, perhaps you can help to facilitate this. (FYI Claudia’s profile is still present on the site as her family gets the death certificate, etc sorted)
we have the honor of calling Claudia a friend. Ten sits for a total of 18 months’ time with our cats over the course of four years in two houses and two states, and every minute of every one was a pleasure. She made a special trip to say goodbye to our Mo before we had to put him down. We had an ongoing chat between sits as well, and I already miss her so much. Yesterday I texted her to say we had finally finished her frozen spinach from February, lol, and then got the heartbreaking news.
Please spread the word about the loss of this truly remarkable human.
