I followed the instructions on how to cancel my upcoming automatic renewal and could not do so. I contacted the help (virtual assistant) explaining and we were back and forth and then she gave me a link to cancel which brought back to where I started and it does not work. Can anyone give me an email address for TrustedHousesitters so I can email a real person. Feeling very frustrated! Thank you!

Alternatively, in the chat box you can ask to speak to a real person (there’s not always someone available though).
@Zoegirl
You won’t be able to cancel if you have sits confirmed after your renewal date -
when using live chat as @Meow has already suggested ask to speak to a human - the chatbot rarely understands !
You just have to untick the auto renew box, it’s in settings, my account. Might not let you if you have future sits booked though.
Hi @Zoegirl
Sorry to hear that Frankie wasn’t able to get you through to the team - but I can see that there is an open ticket waiting to be picked up. Hopefully you’ll hear from someone soon.
Please feel free to pop back and let us know when you’ve heard from them, or if you haven’t heard from the team after a day or two, I can check up on things for you in that case.
Jenny
Hi Chrissie - I tried that - when I untick the auto renew box it brings me to another page to tick off which reason I want to remove my auto renew - when I choose a reason there is no scroll bar on that page to bring me down to where I can submit - so nothing gets changed. I have emailed them now and hope to hear back soon.
Also I don’t have any future sits.
No future sits booked. Just a problem with the website trying to remove the auto renew. The chat box (virtual Frankie) was pretty much useless - we just went around in circles.
Thank you Jenny. I now have an email in to the support team so hopefully I will hear from them soon. If not I’ll let you know.
Hmmm, that’s very crafty. Last time I used it was during COVID, and it definitely worked then.
Sometimes poor web design can lead to this and you can get around it by using Ctrl + - (that’s a minus sign) to decrease the font size on the web site (I’m assuming you’re on a lap top/computer), and then the “hidden” Submit button on the UI will eventually appear.
Thank you meow - that worked - I did Ctrl - and I could see everything then. Thanks again!
