Hello everyone!
Like the old song says… “oh I do like to be beside the seaside…”
I was just wondering, what’s your favourite seaside location? Maybe it’s a traditional British seafront, with a nearby funfair, and a 99 ice cream, or maybe it’s something more grand such as La Baule, in France.
However you prefer to spend your time by the sea, I’d love you to share your favourite seaside locations with me, and as always, photos are very much appreciated!

This is a photo from the Guam Visitors Bureau.
I spent years on the island as a kid and it spoiled me. The Pacific was warm and blue. The sunsets routinely gorgeous. The people always friendly and generous.
Once, I returned for college break and headed to a party with friends. Turns out we went to the wrong house, which we learned about half an hour in. The hosts urged us to stay and have more food and drink, though, because that was typical hospitality on Guam.
No beaches will ever compete for me.
Ayia Napa in Cyprus, years ago when it was a fishing village with one bar and no tourists. Cabo Ledo In Angola, also many years ago.

My favorite: When the sunset turned the sky a vivid purple. Amazing.
The warm water really spoiled me. The first time I visited San Francisco and saw people coming out of the Pacific in wetsuits, I was befuddled. As a kid, I didn’t realize that the ocean could be so cold, by contrast.
Are budgie smugglers compulsory? Asking for a friend.

We’ve visited here @ziggy when we did a 5 week sitting further north.
We went to 2 concerts at The Twin Towers Services Club at Tweed Heads
Anywhere on Guernsey and Herm.

Your sits certainly have something to live up to 
. We spent 4-5 months on Crete during 2024/5. More ahead. Happy days
