Finishing a 3 week sit with a pair of 14 yo cats in Asheville, NC
Mr Tibbs is a sort of tuxedo who is on meds - prednisone every day and a chemo tablet every other Sunday (twice while I was here). Not too difficult, I use a pill popper.
Jim is also 14 years old and even after 3 weeks won’t let me get near. He is also on prednisone - supposed to be every other day, but after the first time, he keeps his distance. They have a catio and a flap and when I go out to the catio to clean the letter box he goes inside. I let the PP know that I couldn’t get near him and she said that the pill isn’t a must but more of a maybe.
Both are free feeders so I can’t even entice Jim at meal times.
Mr Tibbs though spends a a few hours a day in my lap or next to me on the couch.

Finishing up 2 weeks with a pair of indoor/outdoor cats in southern Virginia, off the Appalachian trail. They are indoor/outdoor but they don’t go far, staying on the back deck.

Just finishing up a fantastic few weeks in Montreal with this darling Yorkie, Moose!
Phenomenal and generous hosts, beautiful home which included a resort-like backyard, complete with salt water pool. The only time I left ( hubby stayed home with Moose) was to attend the Men’s tennis at the National Bank Open. The hosts were happy I got to go and recommended I take the excellent new light rail service into Montreal. We would repeat this sit in a heartbeat. Missing Moose so much…

This is Molly, she’s 10 and has been completely blind for 2 years. Despite her owners moving to a different part of the UK last November she knows exactly the routes on her different walks and almost always walks ahead of me, on lead of course! She might need steering round the odd lamp post or through a narrow gate but she knows where to cross the road and whether taking the left fork or the right fork on a track is the correct way! She’s amazing. I’m also really enjoying revisiting the Norfolk Broads where we had the very best family holidays, 60 odd years ago!
