I searched for somewhere to put this and a previous no-notifications thread was from 2023, so…
Wondering if anyone else has recently had their saved searches go >poof<.
It dawned on me that I hadn’t got any sit notifications in ages. I came to the site to have a look at my 3 allowed saved searches. 2 of the 3 had “alerts off”. I most definitely did not turn them off!
I’m not urgently looking for anything right now, but I’d’ve been pretty mad if it had happened on a couple of previous occasions when I was.
Anyone else had their notifications randomly turned off?
Yes. It happened to me just today when I was randomly looking at my saved searches. A couple of them were turned off when I know for a fact I checked a few days ago to make sure all were turned on.
The announcement (which was on the forum only and was not sent out to all members by e-mail ) said it only affected combined members . However it is affecting all users of the App .
When will THS be informing all of their members about the changes ? We are told that the higher fees are to improve the experience . By frequently making big changes without informing members what the changes are and how to locate the things they need , is not an improvement to the user experience. It makes the experience worse than before .
THS need to improve their comms around the changes and update all members about them before or as they are introduced .
I couldn’t agree more @Silversitters. We keep being told how important communication is between host and sitter by THS yet that is the very thing that THS falls down on and really doesn’t care about.
