As far as I can see I’ve turned off all the notifications settings in THS, but my phone still keeps alerting me to new listings. I have no interest in knowing about new listings, when I want to find a sit I’ll do a search based on my criteria.
How can I please stop THS continuously sending me unwanted superfluous updates about listings I have no interest in?

I’m wondering if by any chance you have a saved sit that you haven’t deleted? I’m getting notifications for such a sit - your post has reminded me to go and delete it.

@Kendal, welcome back to THS Forum.
In case useful then phone-based notifications are typically caused by two triggers:
- Favourites - you will receive notifications for properties that you have previously clicked as a favourite. suggest you click on favourites and delete properties as appropriate
- Saved Searches - you will receive notifications for results of saved searches. On phone, click on ‘where would you like to go’ area. A list of saved searches will appear. Three dots to right of each search allow you to delete search or to change notification settings, as appropriate.

Thanks for the suggestion that the problem may be due to Favourites or Saved Searches. I have checked and I have no saved searches. The notifications I get are not related to my favourites in any way.
I get notifications of new listings from other continents and it is really annoying. It feels like junk mail. I would really like it to stop. Any ideas please?
Contact membership services. If your notifications are off and you have no favorites or saved searches, then something’s wrong.
Note: If you’ve used both website and app, you might first want to check that you have no favorites or saved searches in both — they might not sync up. You also might want to double check notifications on all your devices, because with some (depending on platform and maybe device), updating an app can sometimes trigger notifications settings back to defaults.
And if membership services can’t help, you can always use your email platform to create a folder and route all such notifications there and never look at them and occasionally purge them, or maybe have them auto-delete (depends on which email platform you use). In such cases, you’d presumably still want THS payments and other key emails, so you’d just make sure that the auto-delete or folder-routing includes specific subject words, so it affects only listings notification emails.
Personally, I was annoyed by so many notifications and turned off THS notifications and wiped out all of my saved searches and favorites, which stopped all THS notifications of new listings. All I’ve received since are key emails. And that started working immediately and I’ve had no problems with it in the year or so since.
Really helpful idea about directing unwanted emails to a junk folder, thank you.
