Day 1 of a sit that is only 25 mins drive from home but a world apart, with this gorgeous girl.
We’re now both chilling out, drying off.

@toml We just finished a sit with an Australian Shepard, as well. This pic doesn’t show it, but her eyes are an icey blue!
Just wrapping up a sit with two Staffordshire Terriers. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this breed, but they have proven to be extremely affectionate to us and very quiet. No barking or noise at all, but lots of boisterous play.
We did learn the hard way to not leave anything in their reach when we go out. One of them is still young and likes to chew anything. We came home to see hubby’s reading glasses all chewed up, plus his expensive noise canceling headphones. Our fault, we know, and we will certainly be more careful with our belongings in the future.
It has been a lovely sit in the English countryside, pub meals, farm shops, longs walk in the drizzle, and excellent streaming services on their huge TV with awesome speakers.
I will miss the dogs, but feel happy knowing how excited they will be to see their owners in the morning.
I left my CPAP mask on the night table while sitting my brother’s pair. Not sure which dog took it, but I found it had been taken to the back yard through the dog door. Fortunately, not chewed up, but I had to clean it up. Started keeping the bedroom door closed unless I was in the bedroom.
Just finishing a sit in Cornwall . Last photo is looking down at the seals on the beach at Godrevy .
Seven beaches and coves explored in seven days with these two lovable guides .
Our Long walks on the south west costal path were fuelled by Cornish pasties, Cornish cream tea and the obligatory fish and chips on the beach ( not all on the same day you understand )
Lovely! Happy dogs, yippee!
Beautiful photos @Silversitters and as @Maggie8K already mentioned, such happy dogs!
@andrealovesanimals absolutely adorable!
@Sam_F Definitely, and very sweet and cuddly, affectionate. Tomorrow I’ll sadly have to leave them
Ahh yes @andrealovesanimals sadly that’s always the hardest part
Very cute! Looks like s/he’s smiling!
@botvot So adorable!
Living our best life with Louie, three miles from the beach, in Wilmington, North Carolina-USA. This is our second year with him but we’ve been sitting in the area for the past five winters.
Mochi is my little current sidekick. She’s very sweet and is pink under her floofy fur. She really does look like a little mochi.
She’s 15 years old and is spry during walks, but otherwise mostly snores away. Sometimes, she wakes and seems startled. I pat her and she goes right back to sleep.
