Who's on a house sit now? How's it going?

A change of scenery today. A walk in the woods with the younger dog and a bit of geocaching. The older dog was having a rest day with my husband.

I am doing a house sit in June with someone who requested us back so looking forward to that. Unfortunately, the one we were doing for over a week had to cancel as the beautiful dog passed away.

Hello @anon27523372 congratulations on getting asked back and I’m so sorry to hear that one of our dear pet members has passed away. Could you please Direct Message me the details?

Thank you.

Angela

Hi Angela,
As requested, I have provided the details.
Lovely owner too.

New people new pets new home in the peaceful countryside of the Welsh English border.
It’s dark now and the windows are open with fresh cool air. Feeling my way in the darkness I am enjoying, unable to find the wall switch, I snuggle in the king bed under the plush duvet and thank the darkness for loving me.

We are in London for the week and get to cuddle with this sweet little guy, Max. Bonus in this sit is that we are here for the Queen’s 70th Jubilee celebrations too.

We’ve just started our second sit in England. Meet the lovely little Luna. She’s already stolen my heart.

Hi @LynKinn enjoy Max he’e gorgeous and please send pictures of the celebrations you might see or be part of.

Would you agree that your apartment “home” and Ginger kitty beat standing in airport queues or sitting on planes which never take off.

Have a wonderful sit experience

Took a quick break from our “no pet” house sit in Brisbane(with owner’s permission of course),

to look after this beautiful girl, along with her brother and sister.

Adorable!

Enjoy Brissie.

“When you need that pet fix”

The look on the face of that adorable dog in the first pic says “Can’t wait for you to come and look after me … PLEASE!!”

Lovely pics thank you!!

Hello from Madrid, Spain. I am sitting with Bambino in a lovely apartment in the center of town. I am happy to be here for 2-weeks exploring the big city. The weather has been great so far.

We’re in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands in England - not too far from home but I couldn’t resist the gorgeous Zeus. The home is stunning too.

Hi @toml We did weekend Sit there too- also in February! It was a unique experience. The house is actually 600 years old- not 400!
However I can’t help feeling that you gave away a bit too much info- precise location, so many pics, host & pets names. Enough that I could instantly identify it as a sit we did 15 sits ago! Guidance for this thread was ’ no names or personal info’ but maybe the owner wouldn’t mind the extra promotion in this case as he is so frequently in need of sitters!

Just arrived in Phrao - farm country between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, Thailand

Chickens and ducks, parrot and 2 cute dogs for a month

Looks like a great sit. Many years ago I spent a wonderful week at the Thai Elephant Conservation Center near Lampang.

Three week sit with Wilson, a cool and calm standard poodle between Greeley and Ft Collins, Colorado. On a clear day, you can see the Rockies from the porch.

Wow that would have been amazing!

@toml beautiful photos :slightly_smiling_face:

Perfect.

This was hands down extraordinary.
Feeling pretty blessed and grateful.
