@mars just $ 81,000 AND it’s out of stock??? Hopefully you’re sitting at a home with one of those
Out of stock?? … Darn was about to get one for the downstairs loo …
Seriously though it looks stunning, I am so glad you had an amazing evening and it is a beautiful chandelier.
@mars Stunning! I hope that you had an amazing time
Maybe on Amazon Prime…lol
Hi there
Sorry if I confused you! Great to hear you came away from your cyclone adventure unscathed. I managed to catch Covid on my journey back to Sweden! Ironic, isn’t it - had no restrictions in Sweden the whole time, just personal responsibility, and I travel all the way to NZ to get it! Then my other half had the pleasure of catching it off me as well! Hope you enjoyed Ozzieland and your sits went without a hitch.
Cheers and happy sitting!
@ExploreDreamDiscover they look super cute! Are they siblings?
Also, Bozeman Montana is at the top of our list to visit so any tips would be welcome.
Two are brother and sister. Sure, ask me anything. Bozeman is a little too far to use as a base for Yellowstone. I stayed in Gardiner MT a few days before to see the park. I rented a car. I did do the scenic drive Bozeman to West Yellowstone. 2 hours each way. Weather is the big thing . Yellowstone is just opening the roads( all will open in a few weeks ) I was able to see a lot. I got lucky with weather. I went to a concert at The Elm in Bozeman. Plenty of hiking opportunities but some trails are still covered in snow.
The house sit I’m at is a very beautiful home and the cats are really great.
If you are thinking of Yellowstone, I hear the traffic is heavy in the Summer.
@ExploreDreamDiscover Thank you that is super helpful. We wondered how far Yellowstone was from Bozeman and if it was the best place to visit from or do that separately. Me being from the UK I always forget to think about the weather and the seasons being so different. That is something else I will look up and consider. If I think of anything else I will DM you
Glad to hear your housesit is great and the kitties, hope you have an amazing time!
On a short housesit in London with this gorgeous pair of Siberian cats.
Weather is definitely the biggest issue. And avoiding crowds at Yellowstone if possible. The park page shows what dates the roads and facilities open and close seasonally. The North entrance of the park is open all year. You probably want to rent at least a SUV because you might end up on some gravel roads, here and there , while exploring but they are good roads. DM if you have and question
Ann Marie
@Debbie Wow they are stunning - Siberian cats are new to me
@ExploreDreamDiscover Thank you! I will DM you
@Carla this is our first experience with Siberian cats. They really are quite dog-like as one of them will come running to greet you and then flop over on your feet for some fuss!
Interestingly, despite all that fluff, many who are allergic to cats can tolerate Siberians. Apparently this is because what most people are allergic to is something in the cat’s saliva. This dries when they lick their fur and forms the dander that triggers allergies. Most Siberians have much lower levels of this in their saliva.
I need to get a better photo of Ralph showing off his “ruff”. He almost looks like a miniature lion!
They look absolutely gorgeous @Debbie.
@Debbie That is super interesting, they sound like Bengals who are also quite dog-like and come when called!
That is good to know about the allergy stuff as my husband can get issues with long-haired cats, maybe Siberians are the way forward
Thank you for sharing and enjoy every moment with them.
Here are a couple more photos of Elsie and Ralph that show just how fluffy they are!
@Debbie I am in love new cat breed on the list to care for!
