It’s on YouTube ‘Cats TV’ and has a few options. Should be easy to find @Maggie8K
Just arrived at my new cat sit - one lovely black cat, 1 year old who is very playful and inquisitive PLUS a 3 month old kitten who is VERY playful and cute! This is like being in heaven
I’m on my first day of first sit from THS, and loving it The only complaint: my doggy companion snorres like drunken sailor:rofl: He’ll be sleeping in another room
I’ve heard this breed can be mischievous @temba. The two we are watching are extremely laid back. The younger one does let me know she is hungry very early in the morning, but that’s not something I am unaccustomed to, in the world of kitty cats
@Joanne These two are inside only cats and spend much of the day by themselves so are basically inseparable. They do have a great play area set up. Most rooms are closed so they can’t create havoc! They’re very entertaining and enjoying having me around! One happily curls up on my lap but the other is too busy but does enjoy being stroked.
Sounds like a great pair of kitties @temba
Sitting locally in Chapel Hill with Max and Charlie, a cat pair. Set in the woods - beautiful yard backing up to a nature preserve. Unfortunately a bit hot for taking advantage of the outdoors.
Max
Charlie
Lots of birds at the feeder out the front window. Will try to add some pics when I get better ones.
And a bunch of butterflies on a backyard bush in the heat of Friday afternoon. Haven’t found a good butterfly id app that works for me yet. Suggestions?
Tom
Looks lovely @toml and Max & Charlie are cuties … enjoy the rest of your time with them
@toml make Google Lens your new best friend and it will identify most things accurately from a photo. I just used it on your butterfly photo - they are Two-tailed Swallowtail butterflies. Enjoy!
Thanks. I was hoping that I could find an app like Merlin for birds that lets me create a ‘life list’ but the apps I have found aren’t nearly as good as Merlin.
Google lens is great!
Yesterday we arrived in Brusells to care for two cats, One is so far in hiding, the other is more than happy to strike a pose - Meet the very beautiful ‘Snowy’
Snowy is beautiful @Colin … hopefully the other one will come out of hiding soon!
What a gorgeous cat - I would even describe it as ‘majestic’
Okay I am responding to a very old post but I was browsing this thread and I’ll be honest after your lovely description I wasn’t expecting you to say the name of my hometown which sounds a lot better than it is when you describe it
The home, kitty, people and garden were lovely. I’ve already contacted the owners and looking forward to a fine cup and howdy do.
I just joined last month, already on my fifth sit and having so much fun. THS is just what I needed in my life! I’ve met some very interesting and kind people, bonded with the sweetest animals and enjoyed some beautiful homes and properties within an hour of the city where I live.
My current sit comes with a lovely old cat named Salem, two fascinating turtles, a trio of hermit crabs and a stunning view of the Puget Sound/Salish Sea. The home is gorgeous and the host friendly and organized. The only downside is the two-night duration!
