Who's on a house sit now? How's it going?

In the Campo inland from Alicante with the gorgeous & lovable Sally & Molly-inseparable twins! :dog::dog:

Pleasant sit with Willow, a 12 year old very independent cat in Charlottesville. Willow sets her own terms for the sit, sometimes visiting with me, other times go off to another room.

Very happy to be on our first repeat sit at Kingscliff NSW looking after a gorgeous Golden Retriever and Russian Blue cat. Not so many Humpback :whale2: on their migration this time. Can’t get enough of the beautiful views from the verandah and on our daily dog walks.

Great location @Crookie with beautiful pets. I sat in Kingscliff a few years ago and loved being so close to the beach. Only issue was the labradoodle SO loved digging for sand crabs that our walks took forever!!

Just wrapped a sit in London that turned out terrifically. They want me to come for a thank-you dinner and have invited me back to sit.

Unlike most sits, this is one I’d repeat, because London has been my all-time favorite city for decades and their location is amazing. The HOs are lovely and I adore their charming cat.

Now I’m going to enjoy London and Paris before my next sit starts. I just checked into a great hotel. I can lie down and see a 180-degree view of the Tower of London, with the Tower Bridge behind it.

Ha, I recognised that view immediately. I stayed in that hotel in September 2020

Now and for the next five years(!), I am sitting 20 rescue cats from Africa on a huge abandoned property in the middle of Germany. I have never come across such an offer before where a sitter was needed for such a long time! First, I hesitated when I saw it, because I wanted to keep traveling, but changes in my circumstances caused me to take it on. To put it simply, I desperately needed a registered permanent living address to insure my new car which I had bought in Germany. And I am so happy I found it through THS!

Finally, my own pets - hamsters and chinchillas - have a tranquil home where I am able to build them enormous cages and pleasure runs. I don’t think that any landlord would have allowed me to do this if I had just rented a flat on the market. God bless THS!

Here are some pictures of the cages I have already screwed together in a room under construction, only one of many on this 2,500 sqm property where I can live for free.

Love it. I didn’t even realize they served a full English when I booked! Bummer I’ll be leaving for Paris before breakfast tomorrow! But I’ve just returned from a night tour of London and have realized that Deliveroo will bring me food from Dishoom. It’s not the restaurant menu, so will see whether I end up happy or very happy, LOL.

Hi @Maggie8K
Is that the Hilton hotel? If so I went to a conference there not so long ago.
Anyway nice views. And pleased you had fun in London (my home base).

Thanks, @richten1. No, it was a smaller hotel.

Currently enjoying a fabulous view and the company of these two lovebugs near Seattle, WA.
