I’d love to see this as an option. If I received invites that I am not interested in at all, I reply and then want to delete those. Likewise, there are some sits I am no longer interested in, and want to clean them out of the Inbox to make room for convos I need to keep. If we are on the site for several years, with lots of convos, we need to be able to clean these up. Is this a change that can be made?
@Traveler99 it’s not possible. I have no idea why. I’d love to clean up my inbox.
The only option is to archive.
I’ve been asking for this since joining 6 years ago but it isn’t possible. You’d think it would be an easy fix….
I would actually think it would save THS money, if they didn’t have to pay for storage for so much additional data for ALL their members and HOs. But I don’t know exactly how that works.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding what the request is… on the app on my phone, I simply select:
Inbox
Edit
the conversation I want to delete
Archive
I want to delete the convos I don’t need. There are just too many. I go back to archived ones sometimes, to reconnect with those HOs for other sits. But other convos I just need to get rid of. They are taking up way too much space.
The simple answer is no, you cannot delete any conversations in your Inbox @Traveler99. We’d all love to be able to but at least they’re out of sight when archived.
@Traveler99 me too. I want to delete. If THS wants to keep them on their end , I don’t care. I receive invites I’ll never do. These I want to permanently delete.
I’ll archive the ones I truly want to archive.
But some of the archived ones I need to keep separately – If they are HOs I want to keep in touch with for future sits. We need to stay very organized to deal with all these messages. The Inbox format should HELP to do all this. The new Inbox doesn’t even allow labels, I think??
I completely agree and understand @Traveler99 but unfortunately that’s how THS has set it up. And yes, labels are no longer an option in the new inbox because apparently they were not used by enough members to warrant keeping them.
