Why are homeowners allowed to post a new sit without any amenities?
The AirBnb-type amenities section is a relatively new feature. If someone’s original listing was made prior to its introduction, they are probably not aware it is available and just publish new listings as-is.
Or perhaps filling out this section is not mandatory and hosts either choose not to update an older listing or use it at all–not a host so not sure how the listing creation process works exactly. But I imagine the former scenario is more likely.
