Best Fall/Halloween Sit Locations?

Hi Friends!

My partner and I are planning to go to the East Coast (New England region) for fall sits and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for cute Halloween towns?

As Halloweiner enthusiasts and fall foliage chasers-- are there any places to hike and see the fall leaves change? Also, any towns that have Halloween festivities besides Salem, MA?.. :fallen_leaf: :maple_leaf: :jack_o_lantern: :ghost: :bat: :vampire: :woman_vampire:

@1m1 Salem, Massachusetts is known as a Halloween town due to all the history there. Take a look at this link.

The entire area is beautiful during that time but this area comes alive for Halloween.

Love it! We will definitely be stopping by for the Haunted Happenings and partake in the spooky atmosphere. :jack_o_lantern:

Hi @1m1 Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA is absolutely fabulous at Halloween. We attended one of their Halloween events, lots of canapés, wine and great conversation along with amazing decor! :jack_o_lantern::bat:

We will be in Salem mid September so I am hoping they will have started decorating.

Oh yes. They decorate as early as end of August. We are hoping to be there mid-October where the crowds and craziness abounds.

@1m1 I can’t wait. We are going with our best friends to celebrate his special milestone birthday (he is from Boston and her sister lives in Salem) so we will be enjoying the area for a week and getting some great lobster and clams while there!

We’ve been in New England most of the summer, and plan to be in Boston for Halloween. Our daughter/granddaughter are there, and can’t wait to take her trick or treating. Will definitely take a trip to Salem during those few weeks before heading south to warmer temps. Enjoy your NE fall season!!!
