Bug in the THS app - sending messages

Is anyone else having problems with sending messages on the THS app?

I get a message in my inbox, I try to reply on the app and every time just as I’ve just finished writing my message, it closes down and goes back to my inbox. I’m using it on an iphone 13.

Anyone else getting the same?

No, but then I rarely use the app as I don’t like it

You should check for updates from appstore if it doesn’t work delete the app and then downlad it again. By the way you can try to use web page if you have access to computer :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for the replies,

I’ll try deleting and reinstalling the app. It works fine when I’m at my computer on on the web. So it’s easy enough to work around.

How does one reply to an invitation? I can’t believe how poor the THS app is when the program is basically about communication.

We have a HO for whom we have sat six times. Because the THS app is so “clunky” we do our communication be email instead of using the messaging function, but now they have invited us through the THS app and I can see their posting but it has me locked out and unable to contact the HO so the sit shows as unfilled.

It seems that THS wants you to subscribe but then not try to use their flawed program.

I’ve deleted the app now and only use the website. I find this is easy enough to do on my phone or iPad.

You’ll be able to access the invitation if you log on through THS website.

I agree, the app is far too clunky and definitely needs some development. Don’t get me started on the calander function! I use Rover for dog sitting sometimes and they have it sorted brilliantly. Maybe THS could find their developers.
