Cancelation question

A HO needs to cancel a sit.
She sent me an explanation.
I let her know it was not a problem but she needed to cancel the sit on her dashboard.

In my inbox I received this:

Then when I clicked the cancel on the right, I got this:

Does that make sense?
I am not canceling.

I’ve not has to process a cancelation, so this is new to me.

I’m confused. DId something change? I thought sitters can’t cancel.

Is this just agreeing to the cancellation?

The cancellation process changed a while back. I first noticed it last September. After the HO unconfirms you your application is still active. You need to either cancel or the HO have to decline you.

So I clicked the cancel and got

Then my inbox showed this

And a notification came thru at some point and was this but came thru before I completed the cancel above.

Just confusing seeing this process for the first time…

THS might’ve changed the process, because some sitters complained that some hosts canceled without communicating anything to them and they were surprised.

That is very confusing- the messaging needs to change
