Can someone remind me where I can change my location? I am a sitter trying to find sits in Europe. Of course THS doesnt have this basic feature that would be ever so helpful to its customers, so I am going to pretend I live in Munich. It isn’t under profile. It isnt under settings. Where in their infinite wisdom and janky platform design is it? Thanks.

It’s under the “about you” section on your dashboard – scroll down and it’s one of the fields you can change. The above is the web site view.

Great idea for a New Features, assuming sitters would want to use it & keep it accurately filled. Maybe if you set it as “My Current Location,” it could show up under your profile pic as “Where I’m at now;” but if you don’t fill it out, it just doesn’t show up at all.
Even better if you could fill out a start/end date & it auto-magically disappeared from your listing when the end date passed. (More useful than trying to use the calendar, I’d think.)
Oh, geez…sorry. I think I was having an out-of-body, ex-software-installer flashback for a moment.

Not exactly, no… the only feature is the one that magically turns your location into your place of residence, for hosts ..that’s a whole lot of moving If that were accurate, I’ve apparently lived in 30 different cities around the world this past year
@Mark_B could this simple feature please be adjusted to “Traveling in”, “Housesitting in” or “Current Location”?
The one right now causes so much unnecessary explaining and misunderstanding.

@buttercup I agree ‘Current location’ would be much more accurate, for some of us, than ‘Lives in’. I am from the UK, hubby is German and we are fully nomadic- for the last 13 years! We don’t ‘live’ anywhere full time. But wherever we live is our temporary home! This year alone I’ve changed our location on the site from Malaysia to UK to France, Germany, back to France, Spain, UK again and for Christmas we’ll be in Australia! So “Current location” would definitely be more accurate and correct- especially for those of us who are nomadic!

Exactly! The current feature makes no sense, especially not for nomads and explorers. Just had to explain to a host (again) that the system alters it into “where we live” not where we’re actually located or traveling. It makes travelers look dishonest, when in fact it’s how THS has chosen to build the feature.

Haha yes! And I didn’t include 2 visits to India and a sit in Czech where we didn’t change location on the site! Yep- ‘Current location’ for us globetrotter/trailblazers! would be perfect!

@Lokstar ..just a few brief pitstops along the way It would definitely make things so much easier, already quite obvious from the reviews that we’re not exactly nesting 
And even if people only travel once a year, the chances of that being in the same city they live in are still rather slim

I can’t seem to find Dashboard in my Android app at all. Profile yes, but not Dashboard.
So, I went in to the website in my phone browser. When I click on dashboard this is what I see top to bottom. Am I missing something?
