Diversion from heavy stuff

This is me. I’m actually without a dog for a week so I’ve no excuse till next week!

Luna was tired out by my early morning walks! Ha ha! Fat jabs? No, just fit Labs!

A painful lesson , for sure! Opposite of S E X Education, then?

When I was taking care of this kitty, he was shy the first day. Wanting some attention the next day, he jumped up on my lap. I pet and massaged him, talked sweetly to him… He got real happy, started purring and head butting my chin. He slowly turned his head towards my face, opened his eyes and realized I wasn’t mom. His eyes went really wide, he pulled his head back quickly, smacked me (no claws) and took off. It was very amusing. Anyway, we became best buds and by the time I left, he was sleeping with me under the covers.

With so many pets in my life now.. and I’ve loved every one of them. This rather hit home!

I’m inbetween sits which is always a dangerous time in my wife’s view as I’m vulnerable to adopting a rescue or two. Well I’ve rescued a corner bath! Soon to become a pond and then it will be full of self maintaining pets for me to observe! Bring it on! I decided to take the plunge when I spotted this from top deck on a bus. Destiny! I talked my neighbour into using his car to bring it home. The owner of the bath was only too delighted to see it go.

I’ve been watching too many episodes of The Secret Garden !

This made me laugh. No home is complete without one!

This was always my retirement plan . Generally I have fewer at a time but consecutively but 5 looks fine to me! Or is it six?
