What happens to our account if we want to take a few years break from house/pet sitting? Do all of the reviews we’ve received disappear and then you have to start all over again?
@IHeartAnimals , THS keeps your profile and reviews for two years. If you renew within that time, you will have them. After that, to my knowledge, they are expunged.

Hello, @IHeartAnimals. That is a very helpful question for other community members so I will add the help desk article here for reference. @mars is exactly right it is kept for two years and then removed due to data protection/data collections laws.

I had my membership on automatic renewal. I don’t seem to have the option to turn off automatic renewal without “cancelling” and losing everything. It seems like pausing for three months is my only option, after which it will automatically renew again. Will I be able to pause again in three months? How can I pause or let it expire without cancelling and losing my reviews?
I had asked this same question when I was new. I was told that even if you cancel, THS will retain your account for up to two years including your past reviews

Yes, your membership is marked as expired for 2 years. After that all info is removed due to privacy regulations.
