Hi everyone, my husband and I have been members for over five years. We have not house or pet sit yet through Trusted Housesitters, but have done lot’s privately through friends, and friends of friends, family and private advertising. We love travelling and experiencing new cultures and meeting the local people. We have applied for a few Trusted Housesitters, but have not been chosen for any yet. Hopefully, when we can travel again, we will be successful. We have travelled Europe, South American, Canada and the USA. Cheers, wishing everyone a nice day. Addie and Terry

Hi, Addie and Terry, welcome! The wonderful thing about Trusted Housesitters is that there are new, exciting sits posted every day. I’m sure you will get to experience some for yourself once we can get back to travelling.
Where are you based? I’m in Ontario, Canada, where we are in our third lockdown. I have a feeling that the floodgates will open once we are able to travel again and there will be no shortage of sits as people start to move around again - we are all a little stir crazy at this point!

Hi Lindsay, thank you. We live in a small town called Edgewater in British Columbia. Just over the mountains from Banff. It is a very beautiful valley with lots of lakes, rivers and wide opened spaces to hike, ski and other recreational activities. We live on an acreage and see all sorts of animals venture through our property. Yes, it will be nice to start travelling, seeing family and friends. Oh, you live in such a beautiful part of the country! I drove from Calgary to Vancouver a couple of years ago, it was my first time driving through the mountains and I fell madly in love. Can’t wait to explore BC again!

Hi Cheri, Banff is beautiful and we are lucky to live quite close to you, we visit there quite often. We also have Mountains all around our home, with many outdoor activities. Hi Kristav, we live the other side of the Mountains from Banff, in the East Kootenays, in a small town called Edgewater, 11 Kim’s. North of Radium Hot Springs, BC on 9 acres of land. Will keep in touch, have no plans at the moment, but looking forward to when we can travel. Thanks very much for your email, will definitely keep you in mind. Our valley is very beautiful, with lots of hiking, camping and lakes. Addie
