I know that sitters CAN already search for sits by date (eg between June 1st and July 1st 2021), but would sitters value the availability to search all sits by ascending or descending date order?
In case I am not explaining that clearly: I’d like to search ALL sits in, for example, England, from today. Instead, I am able only to see all sits in England (or any pre-defined area) which are NOT in date order. Is it possible for a tab to be added to say something like: 'Switch to date order … '? Thanks.
I would definitely value this option!
Me too, but it seems others are not fussed!
I’m surprised this topic does not have much more response.
I really want my searches with daily email alerts on “new” sits to not only be in date order, but location order as well.
Australia is huge, and while there are no doubt people who live in the eastern states who may be willing to do a sit in Western Australia for a weekend, I doubt there would be many.
So, arrange by State and date.
Same would apply to USA I guess.
This would save a lot of frustration trying to figure out if I can get to those locations by the start date.
With only 115 sits advertised in Australia at time of writing this, and many of them having been listed for quite a period of time, I don’t find it difficult to type in which particular state I am interested in and up come the latest listings. Much quicker than waiting for a daily email alert which only happens for a Saved Search. I also have Saved Searches on the app and get messaged as soon as they are listed so this might be what you need to consider doing @CatStaff.
It’s the notification emails for saved search results which are not sorted, either by date or State.
So, I have to check EVERY listing for the location and start date.
