Hi I’m trying to arrange my first sitter, it’s a visit to my elderly parents so exact dates are flexible can I say this in the my listing/calendar dates
Any tips would be appreciated

There is no way to set flexible dates, but I’ve seen plenty of posts that lead with “Flexible Dates” in the title of their listing.

I’ve read listings where the HO said the start and/or end date is flexible. Also, that many Sitters would not commit if you hadn’t booked your plane/transportation tickets.

I would put “Flexible Dates” in your TITLE and also in the very beginning of your profile, at the very top of what sitters read when they are reviewing owner profiles.
How long are you planning to be away? If you want to be away for 2 weeks, for example, I would state this at the top of your listing, and mention your mode of travel (car, plane, train) and even your plan (i.e. “My dates are flexible, I plan to be away for 2-3 weeks, and I will be flying with a mid-day flight, so I will need sitter to arrive by 9 am on the day that I leave.”)
Sitters that consider your listing will not be able to reach out to you unless their dates are actually available, so you might want to constrict your listing dates to a one week sit (rather than 2 or 3 weeks), which would allow more sitters to reach out to you. I hope this makes sense to you, since you are new.

Good advice to publish your «core dates», and then you can alter to actual sit dates before formal confirmation of the sit.
