It’s such an advantage to have more members new and experienced bringing their own stories and experiences, helping and sharing, it’s what our community is all about.
The purpose of the forum is to give all of our members a safe place to connect and the plan was always to test the forum functionality and application then invite our entire global membership, every member who has joined since April 7th was formally invited via email.
It’s rewarding to see our community come together giving so many pet loving members the opportunity to connect in a kind, respectful and considerate way.

We are on the THS site for a couple of years now but discovered this forum after an email invite.
I think it is a great way of meeting other HO, sitter and exchange information. The more the merrier I think.

From an IT perspective the forum engine/database works very well, easy to follow, directs you straight to the last messages you read without having to re-scroll through previous messages again, good subject category options and filtering, … a lot of thought seems to have gone in to it.
Much better than most forums!

Thank you for your comment and feedback @Martin_S it’s most appreciated … We researched other platforms and tested the functionality and UX for a few months before launching, we did hold back on the timing also because of challenging external factors, but we are extremely encouraged by the engagement of our community … early days of course.

I’m one of the ‘newbies’.
I think in a few weeks the hustle & bustle might die down a bit. People often tend to enroll in forums, but then often forget abt it or participate less (not planning to be one of them btw 
)
