That is great that the team is working on it urgently. I am looking for a Christmas sit and won’t be applying for any until I can actually see the reviews. So frustrating when you know they are there but can’t actually see them
I’ve gotten several emails that sitters have saved my listing but they have never shown up in the “Sitters who have saved” list.
This is in addition to the glitch I described above: “No sitters have saved your listing
Don’t worry, they will appear here once they do.” (in reality we have ~48 “saves” by sitters.)
I am the same. I need to read reviews before I apply for a house sit. Just seeing 5 stars is not enough for me at the moment but I will be patient. I am not sure how patient I can be as I am used to my workplace (covering all of Australia states and territories) taking 1-2 days to fix a glitch and this is taking way longer.
My favorites are gone as well on the app. They still show up on the website though, so I’m hoping it’s a temporary glitch on the app.
Does marking a sit as a favourite mean that you will get a specific notice if the sit posts new dates? This is not happening for me, so I’m wondering if that is how it’s supposed to work. Also, as of this morning, all of my favourites on the app have disappeared? I have turned my phone off and on and they haven’t reappeared. They are all still on the laptop site and were on the app as of yesterday, anyone else have this happen.
Hi @sailorgirl there is a glitch in the system which the tech team are working on as a priority and if you need help our community are great also there is a very comprehensive Help Centre on the website where you’ll find the answer to most of your questions by entering a key word in the search function
I have never gotten a notification for the favourites that I have marked. That is what I don’t understand, I have all of my notifications turned on in the app.Am I doing something wrong?
@sailorgirl , you will only get a notification if you have saved them through the app. When the site was working properly, you could open the app, find the listing you had favorited though the website, remove the heart, then replace it. After you have done that, you should receive a notification when that listing has new dates.
Right now, with favorites and reviews down, there is nothing you can do. I hope the IT team is able to fix this serious software problem soon. Without reviews visible, sitters can not vet sits and HO cannot vet sitters. Things are pretty much in a holding pattern at present.
Moderators, Is there any time estimate when or if this will be fixed?
@mars We were informed yesterday that the relevant teams are working on this as a priority. This is a bug so it will get fixed - as soon as we hear that the fix is in place we will update on this thread. Thanks for your continued patience.
Thank you for clarifying that they have to be saved in the app. Seems like another glitch that should be fixed.
Still no favorites or reviews for app and website for me. Some say website works though. I just did my first sit and posted a review. Will reviews posted during the glitch show up after it’s fixed? Hope this is fixed soon.

Does anyone know if home owners can see the sitters’ reviews? We just applied for a sit and are hoping they are able to read our reviews even if we can’t see the sitters’ reviews of them. Thanks.
Hi @Kelownagurl this only affects feedback for owners not sitter reviews … owners will still be able to access sitters reviews when viewing applications.

Me too! very frustrating!
There were 12 sitters who had favourited our listing. Now they are all gone. What happened? Did all twelve really lose interest at the same time? Cathleen

Interestingly, the notifications for new dates from saved but seemingly non-existent favourites are still coming through
