Hi all, I’m new to this forum. I’ve used THS once before in 2020. Everything has changed. I’m trying to edit my Pets and my home. Every time I do this and want to SAVE my changes, the system won’t let me . I’ve tried CHAT BOT and they direct me to a team member but there don’t seem to be any team members available. It’s been 3 days and I really want to post my request for a pet/house sitter.
A recent change requires hosts to put captions on all photos, and have a photo for each specified room category as defined on the listing photos page. If your listing doesn’t have the correct type of photos with captions it won’t save and this isn’t clearly spelled out. All a host will see is a greyed out “save” box.
There are now compulsory sections that must go into a listing @Seamonster. Check you are not getting messages in each section saying something is incomplete.
You might need to speak to a human at membership services, but one thing I’d do – if you are on the website, go to the app. Download the app if you don’t have it. They made a change around 2023 that removed some information from the listings, but some of it is still in app, and the only way to remove it is in the app. The only way to remove it is to delete all the pet information on the app and then start over with it. I discovered that by trial and error.
I have written to THS about this issue. I have brought it up on the forum. I have never heard back from THS about addressing this ever.
