@Samox24 oh to go out for dinner in Bath again - I’ve missed it! Eating out is one of my favourite things to do. Let me know if you’re heading this way and need any recommendations.
Julieb thank you, and I will do
Love Bradford on Avon…stunning place.
I miss that part of the world. I now live on Hayling Island
The last time we were in Bath we were dressed for the Jane Austen festival! We are planning to go away possibly this summer and already have a few useful tips from here on what pet sitters require. Therefore there will be cupboard/drawer space, room in 'fridge/freezer, and a comprehensive list of how to ‘do’ everybody - ancient rabbit, 3 ancient hens, 3 young cockerels, ancient terrier, middle-aged turtle (the ancient horse is looked after separately!) who are all rescue or rehomes. We are still renovating our house so it isn’t exactly pristine, but as we are self-employed housekeepers it will be clean!
Hello and welcome
Hello Julie,
I used to live in Bath and am always on the lookout for housesits there for the school holidays!
Let me know if I can help!
Laura.
Hi @LTD,
I’ll let you know when we’re next looking for a school holiday sit. Be good to stay in touch.
Thanks,
Julie
Hi @ChampagneCharlotte,
The Jane Austen festival is brilliant! I’ve been to a couple of their events. It’s brilliant just walking around town and seeing everyone in all their finery!
It sounds as though you have a brilliantly large family of pets. Quite a handful when renovating too!
Julie
Hi friends from Bath.
I am new to this forum only just joined this morning. I perked up when i read about you.
I had put down as wanting to housesit and do an home exchange as well, as i live in beautiful B.C (this is on our Licence Plates for cars here. ) and would love to experience your world in Bath/cotsworld area. If you are so inclined one day perhaps we could come to some arrangements once COVID is done. I looking for a dog companion this year but am able to travel regardless.
Stay safe and best wishes.
Carolyn
