Good morning all,
I’ve been a member of TH for many years as an owner and sitter. At this point I’m a solo sitter with no pets as I travel more than not. However my partner has a cockapoo named Tef (4yrs)and we spend lots of quality time together when I’m at home.
I’ve just returned to Vermont following a lovely sit in the West Indies for 2 months. There I had a Dane/lab mix Miss Grace and a scruffy little gem Mr Wu. Two cats as well Trouble and TC.
I’m a dog, horse and farm animal lover. Cats are fine just have a love for canines and I’m an equestrian.
I’m very fortunate to live on Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont. It’s absolutely gorgeous here and I encourage anyone that enjoys nature and the great outdoors to take advantage of a “sit” in the “Green Mountain State.”
Pre-Covid I had sits in France, Scotland, Mexico, Nova Scotia, Florida, Cape Cod, Boston and right here in Vermont. New Zealand is at the top of my list for a destination but it needs to be the right fit as I’d love to stay for 2-3 months.
I shall say most of my experiences sitting have been brilliant. However one was a complete disaster- no fault of mine (dishonest, delusional farm owner)
For now, happy sitting and enjoy every minute!

If you need a housesitter in VT I’d be interested. Been to the area many times and love it. Have family there too.

Hi we are doing our first Sit in Denver at the end of July for 2 weeks. Our son lives there and we haven’t seen him in a long time. We live in North NJ. and winter in Fl. Going to Burlington July 10.
