My name is Harriet and I live in a lovely old Yorkshire stone terrace house in the picturesque village of Calverley. I have a pet cat called Kipper who is a young moggy of indeterminate age - a rescue cat who had kittens young and spent time on the streets but is now settling into her safe and comfortable life with me.
I’ve just set up my ad for my home and pet on the website.
Hi @Harrietallen - welcome to trusted housesitters and to this forum group. If you want to, you can link your listing to your forum profile so that all sitters in the group can see it.
Welcome @Harrietallen. Nice part of the world you come from but as York born and bred I may say that! I worked in both Leeds and Bradford a few decades ago!
Found your post. What a beautiful cat Kipper is. Looks like a great character!
Your home looks amazing as well. You’ve done great getting all the essential photo’s. I’m sure you’ll find someone for the Christmas period. I unfortunately don’t do Xmas sits due to family commitments but I’ve saved your listing if you look for future sits.
Hello and welcome, @Harrietallen! I’m hoping to spend some extended time in your part of the globe, late spring/summer. Please do add the link to your sit — I’d love to see it.
Best of luck finding terrific sitters through the community.
@Harrietallen I just looked at your profile, and can I say…the way you wrote about your home and location made me feel I was there! It was so descriptie and alluring…sounds and looks gorgeous. I am sure you will find someone for your Christmas sit…who wouldn’t want to if they are available!
Thank you for joining our community forum. You are going to find it is filled with answers to most, if not all, of your questions and enquiries.
My name is Debbie and I am one of the forum moderators, as well as a sitter member of TrustedHousesitters. I was an owner member for three years and have now moved over to a sitter membership, so I have insight into both sides of the memberships.
I am hoping this info will help you find your way around the platform and interest you to join in the conversations. It can be a little daunting and confusing at first, so we included this handy guide
