For me, it’s all about lighting and getting down on the floor (or the bed) to cat level. Also, closeups!
I’m loving all these cat photos! They are all so purrrrrrrfect! Thanks for sharing
Hi @GardenCat your photo links didn’t upload … would you like to reload as we’d love to see the results of your careful staging
Thank you for the heads up! I think it worked this morning.
As a sitter- this is the kind of photo I want to see- cat personalities crack me up!
Lots of good advice already! I always try to get some head shots and I used to zoom in to get these. However, I have recently learnt in a photography talk that you should never zoom but take the photo and then crop so as not to lose definition. Here are some from my most recent sits.
They’re gorgeous @Dace! Both the kitties and your pictures of them. Thanks for sharing the tip about losing definition if you zoom.
wow @Dace those headshots are amazing!!!
Thanks @Julie_A !
@DMcat I LOVE that picture! Thank you for my giggle of the morning!
It was 100% luck.
Did he have money on one of those horses?
I agree it’s not easy with cats. I usually call their name to get their attention and have a treat on hand. Still doesn’t always work out but I was quite chuffed with this one.
That’s a great idea! Thanks @ExploreDreamDiscover.
